A rising jazz artist brings music from his debut album to the Arsht Center’s outdoor stage in a concert under the stars.
Fernando Ferrarone performs Wednesday, December 10 as part of the Live on the Plaza series. A two-time DownBeat award winner on both trumpet and alto saxophone, Ferrarone leads his quartet in selections from Now till Forever. In addition to his work as a bandleader, he has recorded with artists including Tony Succar, Grupo Rebolu and The Horizons Jazz Orchestra, and was twice recognized by Wynton Marsalis as an Outstanding Trumpet Soloist at the Essentially Ellington Competition. Tickets go on public sale September 19.
