Hispanic Heritage Celebration at the Park

Live music, dance, food and cultural traditions fill Doral Central Park for the City of Doral’s annual Hispanic Heritage celebration. The event takes place Saturday, September 12 at the Doral Central Park Amphitheater, with performances ranging from mariachi and flamenco to Colombian dance and salsa. A Best Empanada in Doral competition invites attendees to sample entries from participating vendors and vote for a favorite before the winner is announced.

The evening’s program includes performances by the Doral Conservatory, Doral Silver Club Choir, Gitanillas Dance Studio and Puerta de Oro Colombia, along with a mariachi performance, the Grito de Miami competition and a closing salsa band. Arts and crafts and other cultural activities are also planned for families.

Presented by the City of Doral, the event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required, and free parking is available at Doral Central Park.
