Through striking images of wetlands, wildlife and water, conservation photographer Mac Stone captures the spirit and fragility of Florida’s natural landscapes.
Hosted by The Betsy - South Beach in partnership with the Everglades Foundation, Mac Stone: Celebrating the Everglades features a presentation and conversation with the artist, whose award-winning work explores the complex relationship between people and the environment. Stone’s photography, on view throughout The Betsy, reflects years spent documenting ecosystems from the Amazon rainforest to the Florida Everglades.
The event takes place Monday, November 17 in The Gallery @ The Betsy Hotel, with cocktails beginning at 6 p.m.
