Memento Mori

Arca Images presents an intimate exploration of mortality through an innovative blend of theatrical lecture, visual art and personal narrative. Memento Mori (Celebration of Death), written, directed and performed by acclaimed playwright Sergio Blanco, takes the stage on October 23-24 at Westchester Cultural Arts Center.

This compelling autofiction monologue invites audiences to participate in an exhibition about death that resonates with both intellectual acuity and aesthetic beauty. The production features visual design and operation by Philippe Koscheleff and photography by renowned Uruguayan artist Matilde Campodónico, creating a multisensory meditation on life's final passage.

Presented in English with simultaneous audio translation in Spanish, this performance is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium's Away From Home Series—a program of off-site performances during the Auditorium's renovation period.
