Miami Beach Turtle Fest

A family-friendly festival in Miami Beach explores the world of sea turtles through interactive activities, conservation education and community programming. Miami Beach Turtle Fest takes place Saturday, April 25 at Altos del Mar Park, presented by the City of Miami Beach as part of the Earth Week Miami lineup. The afternoon event combines environmental awareness with hands-on experiences for all ages.

Activities include a beach cleanup, educational games and exhibits focused on marine life, along with face painting, inflatable attractions and food vendors. Programming highlights the importance of protecting sea turtles and their coastal habitats, offering insight into local conservation efforts.

Held during the start of sea turtle nesting season, the event also raises awareness about the protected Loggerhead, Green and Leatherback turtles that nest along Miami Beach. Through a mix of recreation and education, the festival connects community engagement with environmental stewardship in a beachfront park setting.
