The third annual Miami Beach Turtle Fest takes place on Saturday, April 12 at Altos Del Mar Park. This community-focused event celebrates the beginning of sea turtle nesting season with educational activities designed for visitors of all ages. Participants can engage in a beach cleanup effort, learn through interactive games and enjoy various attractions including inflatable play areas and face painting. Local food vendors will be present throughout the afternoon. The event provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to connect with marine conservation experts who share knowledge about sea turtle habitats, migration patterns and protection efforts along Miami Beach's shoreline, which serves as a critical nesting area for these remarkable reptiles.
