MOCA Makers with Jethro Gedeon

Gesture, color and texture become tools for intuitive expression in a hands-on abstract painting workshop led by South Florida artist Jethro Gedeon. The class takes place Saturday, August 8 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami. Participants will explore abstraction as a somatic and reflective practice, moving beyond recognizable imagery to create through movement, sensation and instinct.

Part of the museum’s MOCA Makers series, the workshop connects visitors with local working and teaching artists through techniques inspired by current exhibitions. All art supplies, museum admission and an optional guided tour are included with registration.

Space is limited, and reserved seats will be held for 15 minutes after the class begins. Participants are encouraged to arrive promptly.
