A defining voice of Latin romantic pop brings decades of chart-topping ballads and emotional storytelling to the Miami stage. Myriam Hernández returns with a live performance shaped by intimacy, lyrical intensity and songs that have become touchstones across generations.
Born in Chile, Hernández rose to international prominence in the late 1980s and 1990s with a string of enduring hits, including “El Hombre Que Yo Amo,” “Huele a Peligro,” “Te pareces tanto a él” and “Herida.” Her music helped establish the modern Latin ballad as a global genre, earning her multiple industry honors and a lasting reputation as one of Latin music’s most expressive vocal interpreters. Over a career spanning more than three decades, she has continued to tour widely, connecting with audiences through performances that emphasize emotional clarity and vocal nuance.
The Miami stop is part of Hernández’s Tauro World Tour, which revisits signature songs alongside later material that reflects her continued evolution as an artist.
Myriam Hernández performs Saturday, September 5 at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami.
