Noche de Arte: Yochi Y. Avin
Mar 02, 2026 - Mar 30, 2026
weekly on Monday
From: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
An ongoing annual art series brings live creation and community engagement to downtown Miami.
Noche de Arte: Yochi Y. Avin takes place every Monday through March at Gallery 100 inside the InterContinental Miami. Presented by collaboARTive, the recurring Noche de Arte series features a different local artist each month; March highlights multidisciplinary visual artist Yochi Yakir-Avin as Artist in Residence.
Born in Poland and raised in Israel, Yakir-Avin earned her BFA from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. Her practice spans painting, drawing, fiber arts, photography, installation and performance, layering worn photographs, sheer fabrics, thread and reflective or industrial materials to explore memory, identity and the ways personal and collective histories evolve over time. She is a recipient of the 2024 Broward Innovation Grant for Painting Life in Pictures and has exhibited nationally and throughout South Florida.
In recognition of Women’s History Month, collaboARTive partners with LEAP, a nonprofit supporting formerly incarcerated women through education and opportunity. Representatives will be present during March programs to share information about their work.
Noche de Arte invites visitors to observe the artist at work, create a postcard collage and engage with Miami’s creative community in an open gallery setting. Gallery 100 is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
