Rehash
May 08, 2026
From: 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM
A new wave of South Florida indie rock takes over ZeyZey Miami with a lineup led by Rehash, joined by Cannibal Kids, Easterlin and Bonus. The all-ages show unfolds in the venue’s open-air setting, where rising local and regional acts share the stage for a night that stretches from early evening into late-night sets.
Formed by high school friends Renzo Valdez and Sebastian Gamez and later joined by siblings Ethan and Daseth Lopez, Rehash channels the restless energy of ’90s and 2000s alternative rock. Often compared to bands like Radiohead, Panchiko and The Strokes, the group has built momentum through releases including their self-titled debut, 2024’s Mourning Star and 2025’s mock. The single “Back to Strangers” expanded their audience through viral traction, introducing their moody guitars and melodic hooks to a wider crowd.
They are joined by Miami favorites Cannibal Kids, recipients of Miami New Times’ Best Rock Band recognition. Known for their genre-blurring approach, the band’s album Chiral explores indie rock alongside touches of jazz, alt-rock and Japanese city pop, reflecting a growing national presence that includes touring with acts such as Young the Giant and Flipturn. Additional support comes from Easterlin and Bonus.
ZeyZey Miami provides the open-air cultural backdrop, featuring a curated beverage program of seasonal cocktails, natural wines and nonalcoholic options. On-site dining is powered by Tacos María, serving grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos made with unapologetic flavor and zero shortcuts.
