Hip-hop’s foundations take center stage when Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater returns to the Adrienne Arsht Center.
Performances take place Wednesday, October 30 and Friday, November 1 as part of the Dance at Arsht series. Choreographer Rennie Harris frames the evening around his “three laws of hip-hop”—individuality, creativity and innovation—through a program featuring B-boying, house and other street dance forms performed by the company’s acclaimed dancers.
On October 30, ticketholders are invited to arrive at 6:30 p.m. for an Arsht Plus experience with DJ El Abstrakto, a cypher by Ground Zero Crew and an all-ages hip-hop dance workshop led by a company member.
Public ticket sales start on September 19.
