Live DJs, percussionists and free dance lessons set the stage for a community salsa night at Shoma Bazaar in Doral.
Salserisimo takes place on the second and fourth Friday of the month, with upcoming dates on September 12 and 26. Each evening begins at 9 p.m. with a complimentary salsa class, taught by Mel In Motion on September 12 and Liurys Alvarez on September 26, followed by dancing to music from DJ Mike Calderon, DJ Compay and live percussion by El Poty on congas and Joseph Watts on timbales. Admission is free all night.
