Santa Claus on a Fire Truck

Catch a glimpse of Santa Claus as he rides through the streets of Coral Gables on a fire truck during the 14th annual Santa Claus on a Fire Truck event, taking place on Saturday, December 7, and Sunday, December 8. This cherished holiday tradition brings Santa and his helpers to neighborhoods across the city, spreading festive cheer and handing out candy canes to children along the way.

Coral Gables firefighters will transport Santa on three separate routes each day, ensuring he covers as much of the city as possible. Residents are encouraged to listen for the sound of the fire truck as it approaches major thoroughfares near their homes. While Santa won’t be able to visit every street, detailed schedules provide estimated times for each route.

The routes cover areas including Miracle Mile, Coral Way, Bird Road, Cocoplum, Hammock Oaks and many more. From early morning to early afternoon, Santa will make his way through Coral Gables, marking the start of the holiday season.
