A long-standing Coral Gables tradition brings Santa and a crew of helpers through city neighborhoods for a weekend of holiday visits.
Santa Claus on a Fire Truck takes place on Saturday, December 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, December 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with Coral Gables firefighters escorting Santa along three routes that cover as many residential streets as possible. Now in its fourteenth year, the event features Santa greeting families from atop a fire truck and handing out candy canes to children as he passes by.
