Soul Summit & Paperwater
Jun 19, 2026
Starting: 11:00 PM
Open-air house music, Afro-diasporic rhythms and Miami electronic sounds come together at ZeyZey Miami for a Juneteenth evening in Little Haiti. Soul Summit and Paperwater takes place Friday, June 19, bringing Brooklyn’s long-running Soul Summit collective together with Miami-based electronic duo Paperwater. The event centers on dance music, community and the shared cultural space created by both acts.
Founded in 2002 by Sadiq Bellamy, Tabu and Jeff Mendoza, Soul Summit began in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene Park and has become a fixture of the city’s house music scene. The free outdoor party is known for its connection to Black queer expression and for cultivating an inclusive atmosphere around classic and contemporary house sounds.
Paperwater, the Miami duo of producers Daygee Kwia and Eddy Samy, brings a sound shaped by Afro, tech and deep house, with Caribbean and African diasporic rhythms woven into progressive electronic textures. Their DJ sets blend club music, fashion, art and storytelling into immersive performances.
ZeyZey Miami is an open-air cultural venue with a beverage program, live music and food from Tacos María, which serves grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos. The event begins at 8 p.m.
