This event has passed.
A family-friendly animated film screens outdoors at SoundScape Park as part of the City of Miami Beach’s programming in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary. Taking place Wednesday, May 6, An American Tail: Fievel Goes West is presented within the city’s ongoing SoundScape Cinema Series.
Released in 1991 and directed by Phil Nibbelink and Simon Wells, the film follows Fievel Mousekewitz and his family as they journey from New York to the American frontier, where they encounter new opportunities and unexpected challenges. The story combines humor and adventure with themes of migration and resilience.
Now in its 15th season, the SoundScape Cinema Series offers free weekly screenings in a 2.5-acre park adjacent to the New World Center. The open-air setting features large-scale projection and enhanced sound, creating a casual, communal viewing experience. Admission is free and no tickets are required.
