A documentary screening honoring the testimonies of Holocaust survivors takes place at the Miami Beach Bandshell, followed by a conversation with the filmmaker. The event takes place Tuesday, April 28, presented by Villa Albertine Miami and the Consulate General of France in Miami.
The Last Ones is part of an international initiative dedicated to preserving the voices of the final generation of Holocaust survivors through filmed interviews and educational storytelling. Directed by Dr. Leslie Gelrubin Benitah, the project builds on a broader effort co-led in the United States and France to document personal histories and ensure their accessibility for future generations.
Following the screening, Dr. Benitah participates in a live Q&A, offering insight into the filmmaking process and the importance of capturing these accounts.
