Third Thursdays | Featuring Sound in the Room

Spatial sound, architecture and live performance converge inside The Bass Rotunda during an evening devoted to immersive listening. Presented Thursday, August 19 as part of the museum’s Third Thursdays series, Sound in the Round explores how sound interacts with physical space through a rotating program developed in partnership with MUD Foundation.

The ongoing series brings together sound artists, musicians, singing bowl practitioners and other participants working across experimental and contemplative sound practices. Performers and set times for the August installment will be announced.

Admission is free with RSVP, with capacity available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event coincides with the City of Miami Beach Culture Crawl, which includes complimentary trolley service among participating arts and cultural destinations.
