Dance created for the camera takes center stage at The Bass as choreographers and filmmakers explore movement through the lens of film. Held Thursday, January 21, this Third Thursdays program features the 2027 ScreenDance Miami Film Festival, presented by Miami Light Project.
ScreenDance Miami showcases work by choreographers and directors experimenting with dance on film and other screen-based approaches to movement. Founded in 1989, Miami Light Project presents contemporary dance, music and theater while supporting the development of new work by South Florida artists.
Admission is free with RSVP, with capacity available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event coincides with the City of Miami Beach Culture Crawl, which includes complimentary trolley service among participating arts and cultural destinations.
