Thundercat: Distracted AF Tour

Elastic bass lines, falsetto vocals and a genre-crossing mix of jazz, funk, R&B, hip-hop and psychedelic soul come to the Miami Beach Bandshell with Thundercat. The concert takes place Friday, October 2 as part of his Distracted AF Tour, with support from DJ and producer Kitty Ca$h.

Born Stephen Bruner, the Grammy Award-winning bassist and songwriter is known for technically agile playing, offbeat humor and songs including “Them Changes.” His 2020 album It Is What It Is won the Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album, while his collaborative credits span Tame Impala, Flying Lotus, Gorillaz, Silk Sonic, Childish Gambino, H.E.R., Kaytranada and HAIM.

The concert is presented by the Rhythm Foundation and III Points.
