Tokimonsta Presents: Young Art Records Takeover
Mar 25, 2026
From: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
TOKiMONSTA headlines a Miami Music Week takeover at ZeyZey Miami, bringing her Young Art Records imprint back to the city for a night of forward-leaning electronic sound and label-driven curation.
Taking place Wednesday, March 25, the event centers on TOKiMONSTA’s long-running label, founded as a platform for genre-blurring artists operating at the intersection of electronic, hip-hop, soul and experimental music. The Young Art Records takeover reflects the label’s ethos: artist-driven, collaborative and rooted in creative independence, with a sound that moves fluidly between club energy and introspective listening.
Based in Los Angeles, TOKiMONSTA is a Grammy-nominated producer and DJ whose work has reshaped contemporary electronic music over the past decade. A classically trained pianist turned beat architect, she emerged from LA’s underground scene before becoming the first woman signed to Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder label. Her career spans critically acclaimed albums, global touring and collaborations with artists including Anderson .Paak, EARTHGANG, Isaiah Rashad, Selah Sue and ZHU. In 2019, she earned a Grammy nomination for Lune Rouge, becoming the first Asian-American woman recognized in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category.
Founded in 2014, Young Art Records debuted with TOKiMONSTA’s Desiderium and has since released projects that emphasize musical curiosity and cross-genre experimentation, featuring artists such as Joyce Wrice, Ambré, Yuna, and Isaiah Rashad.
