Vizcaya Late: ZipOdes with O, Miami and WLRN

Community poetry and place-based storytelling take center stage during an evening celebration at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens overlooking Biscayne Bay. Vizcaya Late: ZipOdes with O, Miami and WLRN takes place Wednesday, April 29.

Part of the O, Miami Poetry Festival lineup, the event marks the finale of the ZipOdes project, a community initiative that invites South Florida residents to write poems inspired by their zip codes. Selected poets will share their ZipOdes and discuss the stories and neighborhoods that shaped their work.

Throughout the evening, visitors can explore interactive poetry activities, including a collaborative poetry wall and opportunities to write and submit their own ZipOdes. Drinks from the bar and food from local vendors will be available as guests move through the historic waterfront estate during this celebration of poetry and community storytelling. ASL interpretation will be provided.
