Vizcaya Village Valentine’s Plant Swap

A community-centered plant swap offers a relaxed way to share greenery, gardening knowledge and seasonal connection in a market setting.

Vizcaya Village Valentine’s Plant Swap takes place Sunday, February 15 at Vizcaya Village, as part of the Vizcaya Village Farmers Market. The free event invites participants to bring healthy, pest-free plants to trade while meeting fellow plant enthusiasts and learning about propagation and sustainable growing practices.

Guests are encouraged to label plants with names and care tips and to bring established plants or rooted cuttings for swapping. Vizcaya horticulture staff and volunteers will be on hand to offer guidance and answer questions, reinforcing the event’s focus on environmental stewardship and community exchange. No sales are permitted, and invasive species are not allowed.

Free parking is available in the Vizcaya Village parking lot, with entry from South Miami Avenue. Registration is required to participate, and all ages are welcome.
