WALLCAST® Concert: John Adams with Denève & Ólafsson

Modern history and contemporary sound take center stage in Miami Beach as composer John Adams appears alongside Stéphane Denève and the New World Symphony for an evening devoted to his music. The free WALLCAST® Concert: John Adams with Denève & Ólafsson on Saturday, January 17 features pianist Víkingur Ólafsson performing a new concerto written for him, alongside works including The Chairman Dances, After the Fall, I Still Dance and the Doctor Atomic Symphony.
The performance inside the New World Center will be broadcast in high definition on its 7,000-square-foot projection wall at Soundscape Park, along with a mobile screen and upgraded sound system expanding the viewing area. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or picnic dinners for a relaxed evening outdoors. No tickets are required, and public restrooms are available in the southeast corner of the park.
