Water Lantern Festival

Floating lanterns illuminate the water at Tropical Park during this annual evening festival centered on reflection and community gathering. The event takes place Saturday, May 2, beginning in the late afternoon and culminating with a coordinated lantern launch after sunset. Open to all ages, the program combines interactive activities with a shared visual experience.

Attendees receive lantern kits to decorate with personal messages before releasing them onto the water during the evening launch. The event also includes food trucks, live music, vendors and a scavenger hunt, creating a festival-style environment leading up to the main moment.
