Yacht Rock Under The Stars

Smooth rock classics from the late 1970s and early 1980s set the tone for an open-air tribute concert overlooking Biscayne Bay. Yacht Rock Under The Stars takes place Saturday, July 25 at 8 p.m. at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. The 21-and-over performance is part of the Concerts Under the Stars series and features yacht rock favorites in a rooftop setting.

The tentative program includes songs associated with Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Toto, Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers and Player. Selections are expected to include “This Is It,” “Sailing,” “Rosanna,” “Minute by Minute,” “Rich Girl,” “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” “Baby Come Back” and “Ride Like the Wind.”

The concert runs approximately 90 minutes with a brief intermission. Doors open 60 minutes before showtime, and late entry is not permitted. A full bar and light bites will be available at Edgewater Rooftop + Bar, and concert attendees receive 15% off at Gold Coast Kitchen + Cocktails on the hotel’s first floor. The venue is accessible by elevator, and the event will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather.
