The Wizard of Oz
July 4-25
Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre
Take a nostalgic trip down the Yellow Brick Road at Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables, which welcomes The Wizard of Oz for a lengthy 21-night run. Presented by the Theatre for Young Audiences, the L. Frank Baum classic has been adapted by Price Street Players, with book and lyrics by Jim Eiler and music by Eiler and Jeanne Bargy. Join everyone’s favorite Kansas farm girl on this coming-of-age journey as she struts in her ruby reds alongside her fearsome trio of unlikely friends.
A sensory-inclusive show is scheduled for July 12 at 2p.m.

Dennis Watkins' The Magic Parlour

Dennis Watkins can do much more than pull a rabbit out of a hat. The third-generation, award-winning magician brings Dennis Watkins' The Magic Parlour to Teatro inside the Adrienne Arsht Center, infusing his mesmerizing bag of tricks with entertaining stories, bouts of mind-reading, and plenty of surprise-and-delight moments to reignite nostalgia and mystique.

Miami Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theater
The only acceptable night to laugh about healthcare in public is when it's at Steven Ho’s expense. The former ER technician turned standup comic and content creator will grace the stage at the Miami Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre for one of the season’s most anticipated comedy shows as part of his Not Your Hero comedy tour. Expect three nights of sharp storytelling infused with IRL ER chaos from both his firsthand experience and audience submissions. In this case, laughter is very likely the best medicine.
Buena Vista Social Club

Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts
Inspired by the music and legacy of Cuba’s iconic Buena Vista Social Club, this vibrant production takes over the stage at Adrienne Arsht Center from September 29 to October 4. It tells the story of legendary diva Omara Portuondo, aka the “Queen of Feeling,” and her resounding journey through music and milestones. The seminal album comes to life thanks to a world-class cast, and centers around relatable themes of grandiose dreams and opportunities for redemption.
Fall Mix

Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts
The not-to-be-missed fall opener of the 26/27 season, Fall Mix at the Arsht Center, performed by the Miami City Ballet, features a fusion of classical and jazzy vibes. George Balanchine’s neoclassical Allegro Brillante will bring a youthful exuberance, followed by a world-premiere performance of former Miami City Ballet principal dancer Patricia Delgado’s homecoming, which concludes with the company premiere of Jerome Robbins’ N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz for a dose of throwback Americana.

MOMIX Botanica

The Moss Center
A nature-inspired journey through seasonal rhythms, MOMIX Botanica at The Moss Center in South Dade will produce an herbal remedy of dance, projections, incredible props and puppetry with a hint of whimsy. Set to Vivaldi and infused with a hint of fantasy, this highly visual theater production from artistic director Moses Pendleton promises an all-sensory spectacle that’s sure to leave a lasting impression on your fall show calendar.
George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker

Making its merry return to the Arsht, George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker sprinkles the destination with a healthy dose of holiday cheer. Travel across the glittering forest of dancing snowflakes with Marie and the Nutcracker, take on the fierce Mouse King, get enchanted by the Sugarplum Fairy, and enjoy more whimsical moments in the Land of Sweets.
Show time is two hours, with a 20-minute intermission, and the performance is recommended for ages 4 and up.

Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs

A household fairytale by The Brothers Grimm, the ballet adaptation of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs by the European Ballet Company will deliver a new interpretation of the classic at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater.
