The Best St. Patrick’s Day Events in Miami
- February 17, 2026
Ireland might be far from Greater Miami & Miami Beach, but when St. Patrick's Day rolls around on March 17, 2026, we’re all a little bit Irish. The global holiday honors the patron saint of Ireland with all manner of festive meals, partying and parades celebrating Irish culture.
From a festive 5k or half-marathon to a four-day bayfront bash, an Irish street party and a slew of Irish pubs where you can sit down with Shepherd’s Pie and a Guinness, let's just say the whole destination will be feeling pretty lucky. Here are our favorite ways to celebrate in 2026.
44th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival
March 7
The South Florida Emerald Society is back with its 44th-annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival, a fun-filled day for the whole family to celebrate Irish culture, music and tradition in Miami. Every year, festival-goers get to enjoy rugby and hurling exhibitions, activities for kids, St. Patrick’s Day food and drink and live entertainment, such as Irish dancers, local cover bands and pipe and drum performers.
This year’s festival will be held at the German American Social Club in Kendale Lakes. The event runs from 12:30 to 6 p.m. and admission is free.
Miami St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl
March 14
Gather your friends, throw on your favorite green attire and celebrate St. Paddy’s Day like every good Irish man or woman, with an old-fashioned pub crawl. Join hundreds of revelers as you drink your way through Downtown Miami on the Miami St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl.
Buy tickets online and check in at Barsecco between 1 and 5 p.m. to get a map of the area and your wristband. That wristband is your four-leaf clover; it gets you up to three drinks or shots, themed food and drink specials (like green beer for St. Patrick’s Day, perhaps?) and free entry to participating bars and the official event afterparty.
The bar crawl runs until 8 p.m., but get there early and you might get St. Paddy's Day beads.
33rd-Annual JohnMartin’s St. Patrick's Street Festival
March 14
When it comes to Irish bars or restaurants, JohnMartin’s in downtown Coral Gables is a household name. This classic Irish pub has a modern-day look and feel, Irish beers on tap and a glass and chrome wall filled to the brim with new, go-to and rare whiskeys alike.
Back for the 33rd year, the restaurant’s annual JohnMartin’s St. Patrick's Street Festival will once again fill Miracle Mile with bar stations, multiple food vendors, games, St. Patrick’s Day activities for kids and U2 tribute band, Wide Awake. Guests who RSVP online will get a free shot glass at check-in.
Proceeds will benefit the Li'l Abner Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing Miami’s educational offerings with free programs for tutoring, dance, taekwondo, archery and more.
St. Paddy’s Day Lucky Run
March 14
If your idea of a holiday involves exercise, throw on your craziest green gear and kick off your weekend at the St. Paddy’s Day Lucky Run, where you can run a 5k, 10k or half-marathon through quiet, palm-lined Key Biscayne.
The run starts at Playita, across from Miami Marine Stadium, and doesn’t keep time. (But if you’re aiming for a personal best, you can always ask a race organizer to help you track your run.)
All runners will get a swag bag with a running tee, a finisher’s towel, a medal and certificate of completion. After you cross the finish line, celebrate with a beer. It’s what the Irish would do.
St. Patrick's Day Celebration at PIER 5
March 14-17
PIER 5 at Bayside Marketplace hosts four days of live music, dancing, Irish beer and food this holiday. The free St. Patrick's Day Celebration invites guests to dress in in their best resort casual greens and enjoy cocktails and beer from The Rum Bar, Tequila & Mezcal Bar and Miami Ice, as well as food from Black Market Miami, Ben's Pizza and KUBA Cabana.
The celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. each day, rain or shine. Entry is free but tickets are encouraged to reserve your spot.
Irish Restaurants & Pubs To Try
St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t have to be a big event. For some, all you need is an Irish pub, a perfectly poured Guinness and some good ol’ bangers and mash. Get all the good St. Patrick’s Day food and drink at one of the destination’s popular Irish bars or pubs.
The Auld Dubliner
The Auld Dubliner is a family-run pub in Downtown Miami that serves classic Irish food and American bar favorites. Start your day with a full Irish breakfast of eggs, rashers, bangers, white and black pudding, baked beans and tea. If you go for lunch, get the fish and chips or Shepherd’s pie.
Looking for something a little different? Order the Chelsea burger, which is topped with Irish bacon and a fried egg. The walls are adorned in Irish knickknacks and memorabilia, and if there’s a rugby game on, you bet The Auld Dubliner is showing it. From the food to the decor, this homegrown spot has a lot more character than your traditional Irish bar.
Finnegan’s Way
For decades, the funky, laid-back Finnegan’s Way has been pouring pints and Irish whiskey shots from behind the bar on Ocean Drive. Grab a table outside for some classic people-watching and wash down plates of pizza, burgers and wings with a nice cold Guinness.
Bryson’s Irish Pub
Located near Miami International Airport, the family-owned Bryson’s Irish Pub will put you in the Irish spirit. Choose from a large selection of beer, whiskey or scotch, then mix it up a little and order Bryson’s Famous Wings, which are deep-fried, covered in dry rub and served with your sauce of choice. Buffalo, teriyaki, garlic Parmesan and mango habanero are just some of the flavorful options. The bar keeps pouring until 5 a.m., so like a true Irishman, you can keep the party going until the morning.
The Leinster
Go to The Leinster to watch sports, meet new people or sip a nice glass of whisky after a long day at work. Order the boneless Guinness BBQ wings, creamy Irish potato and leek soup or, for a real treat, a scotched egg rolled into a ball of seasoned Irish sausage, covered in breadcrumbs and dipped in an Asian aioli.
Founded by a real Irishman who moved to Miami in 2002, The Leinster is Edgewater’s neighborhood Irish bar. Started from a passion for Irish culture and community, The Leinster makes you feel like you’re in a friend’s (very nice) living room.
