The Bakehouse Art Complex, established in the mid-1980s, provides local artists with residencies, studio space and exhibition opportunities. Comprised of 50,000 square feet of installation and exhibition space, The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse showcases the extensive collection of prominent Miami art collector Martin Z. Margulies. The Warehouse displays works by influential artists of the last two centuries, including Joan Miró, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.
Since its inception, the Margulies collection has had a significant focus on photography, featuring exhibitions from the Vkhutemas and Bauhaus schools, as well as over a dozen prominent photographers.
