BELLINI

Bellini Restaurant and Bar is housed on the rooftop level of the ultra-swanky Mr. C Coconut Grove Hotel. With old-school glam décor, beautiful servingware and waitstaff in white jackets, Bellini charms diners with its classic elegance. Look out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the gorgeous views of Biscayne Bay while sipping the restaurant's namesake cocktail. Then delve into the menu of Italian dishes with standouts such as the baked polenta, rich risotto, and dreamy pasta topped with decadent truffles.

GLASS & VINE

Nestled in gorgeous Peacock Park, indoor-outdoor restaurant Glass & Vine offers views of the tree-lined park and glimpses of glittering Biscayne Bay. At the helm is Giorgio Rapicavoli, winner of Food Network’s “Chopped.” Rapicavoli focuses on fresh, local ingredients and dishes served family-style. For a mid-day meal, try the grilled fish sandwich and a refreshing watermelon salad; or dine under the lights at night with small plates of crispy yucca, shrimp ceviche and entrees like brick-roasted chicken and steak frites. The restaurant's relaxing surroundings make it a prime date-night destination. During the day, there’s a playground next door where the kids can burn off some energy.

MAYFAIR HOUSE HOTEL & GARDEN

Located in the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden – an icon that has recently been revamped – the Mayfair Grill serves up food inspired by the wood-fueled, open-fire flavors of the American Southwest. Fire roasted and crafted with Florida and Southwestern ingredients, can’t-miss dishes include the wood-oven cheese, which can be scooped up with grilled sourdough bread, and picanha steak with a chocolate mole rub.

For something completely different, head to the rooftop bar, Sipsip, to indulge in Caribbean-inspired dishes such as conch ceviche and jerk-chicken sandwiches, accompanied by an array of rum-infused cocktails. The ambiance is especially dreamy at night when the fireplace is ablaze and you’re sipping drinks under the stars while gazing at Biscayne Bay.

ARIETE

Ariete is a charming indoor-outdoor MICHELIN-starred restaurant helmed by one of Miami’s rock-star chefs, Michael Beltran. Chef Beltran’s innovative American dishes are shaped by passion for his Cuban heritage, devotion to championing Miami ingredients and traditions, and commitment to classic French techniques. Ariete is one of only four restaurants in the U.S. that makes what is known traditionally in France as Canard à la Presse. The Rohan Duck is dry-aged for 14 days and lightly glazed with guarapo and local honey.

BOMBAY DARBAR

If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in a beautiful setting, Bombay Darbar is a fine choice. In a dining room lit by vibrant, jewel-toned lights, you can peruse a menu packed with traditional Indian favorites such as vegetable samosas, tandoori chicken wings, basmati rice dishes, chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo. Be sure to order plenty of the signature naan to enjoy with the meal.

LOS FELIX

Tucked away in a snug spot on Main Highway, Los Félix boasts a Michelin star for its standout Mexican cuisine. Don’t worry – the Michelin nod doesn’t mean this restaurant is stuffy. Los Félix is a fun, youthful place that feels like a dinner party, with great vibes and fabulous music. Dishes are highly creative and change often. You might be treated to daily-made tamales, pork cheek carnitas, snapper crudo and grilled octopus with beetroot mole.

NARBONA

Part restaurant, part market, Narbona is a sprawling spot on the ground floor of CocoWalk that has whatever you’re craving, day or night. Have a coffee or fine wine at the cute bar, enjoy a breakfast of pastries or a healthier option like avocado toast, or meet for a leisurely lunch or dinner to savor Uruguayan-style pizzas, homemade pastas and delicious dishes such as an organic half chicken or grilled branzino. Narbona prides itself on dishes starring organic ingredients grown on its own farm.

SADELLE’S

Sadelle’s, one of the many Major Food Group restaurants that dot Miami, has become a hotspot for Grove residents, who gather en masse for brunch on the weekends (seriously, make a reservation). You’ll see tables packed with families and groups of friends sharing the restaurant’s famous bagel tower, egg dishes crowned with caviar, hearty salads and larger-than-life sandwiches. The dining room is an Instagram-worthy dream, and the patio is a popular spot for a boozy brunch.
