Where to Practice Yoga in Miami Beach
- January 27, 2026
Whether you call the beach home or you’re visiting for a few days, there are plenty of yoga offerings in Greater Miami & Miami Beach to deepen your practice.
Imagine flowing through sun salutations with ocean breezes and the sound of waves as your backdrop or meditating in a calm studio tucked away from the buzz of the beach.
Find your new favorite boutique studio or, even better, try out a free yoga class on the beautiful sands of South Beach. Here’s some great spots to practice yoga in Miami Beach.

Boutique Yoga Studios
Hanu Yoga
Get your Zen on at Hanu Yoga, which offers 10 classes throughout three spacious rooms. Discover heated and non-heated styles, mixed movement and breathwork.
Indulge in Power Vinyasa, Suave Flow and Candlelight Yin. The South Beach studio recently added a private cold plunge room to its lineup for solo sessions, as well as guided breathwork and cold exposure experiences with a breath coach.
Ima Yoga
Ima Yoga (formerly Modo Yoga Miami Beach) combines therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated infrared room in the Sunset Harbour neighborhood.
Their signature hatha-based Ima series is the main draw, but you can also book more energizing Flow and Power Flow classes.
Yin and meditation are available for slower-paced sessions, plus barre and movement programs.
Sol Yoga
Sol Yoga – short for “Secret of Life” – is a Sunset Harbour favorite that relocated from Wynwood, bringing its devoted following along.
Step inside and you’ll notice the gold lighting first, then feel the infrared panels heating the room to a comfortable 90 degrees as you move through flows designed for all levels. Hot Pilates is also available if you want to switch things up.
After class, relax in the marble showers stocked with luxe body products, then browse the boutique for activewear, supplements and other lifestyle finds.

Free Yoga/Community
3rd Street Beach Yoga
Dedicated yogis are in luck with complimentary yoga happening on the sands at 3rd Street Beach near the lifeguard tower every single day of the year.
Show up at 7 a.m. for sunrise sessions or catch sunset classes at 5 p.m. during fall and winter (6 p.m. in spring and summer). The tradition dates back to 1998, when local yoga teacher October Rose began practicing alone on the beach.
Other locals started joining her morning routine, which eventually turned into today’s meetups. While Rose now lives in India, local instructors have kept the sessions going in her honor.
Don’t forget a beach towel and water. Donations are welcome.
Collins Park, North Beach Bandshell And Lummus Park
Free yoga classes pop up throughout Miami Beach, thanks to the city’s Parks & Recreation department and local studios like NOBE Yoga.
The “Yoga in the Park” series includes evening sessions at Collins Park near The Bass and at the Miami Beach Bandshell, plus Sunday mornings at Lummus Park. Classes are open to every level.
Since schedules can change with the seasons and special events, check the city’s calendar or NOBE Yoga’s schedule before heading out.
Hotel Wellness Programs
You don’t have to stay at the hotel to roll out your mat for Ahana Yoga’s classes at W South Beach. Hosted at AWAY Spa, the all-levels sessions combine creative flows, breathwork, meditation and sound bowl moments Thursdays through Sundays from 9-10 a.m.
You should always say yes to serene yoga classes at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. With a variety of styles for every skill level and an expansive beachfront backdrop, guests can ease into their practice – then spend the rest of the day leaning into everything the resort does best.
Pro tip: Many Miami Beach hotels offer complimentary sessions for guests, often held poolside, on the beach or in dedicated wellness spaces. Check with the concierge or hotel activities calendar to see what’s on the schedule during your stay.
Unique Yoga Experiences
Synergy Yoga Center
If practicing at Miami Beach’s first yoga studio is on your bingo card, then pay a visit to Synergy Yoga Center on South Beach.
For more than 20 years, the studio has provided the community with a variety of traditional styles and modalities for mind, body and spirit. Take your pick between vinyasa and Ashtanga-inspired classes or opt for meditation, sound bath sessions or warm yin.
In addition, Synergy offers healing arts – think Reiki, acupuncture and prenatal massage – along with traditional Ayurveda methods.
State of Yoga
Located in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood, State of Yoga invites you to venture out of your comfort zone by trying an acro yoga class for all ages and levels.
You’ll start with the core poses needed to enjoy this style class. The best part? No partners are required.
Aside from acro, State of Yoga is home to a range of traditional and contemporary classes, including Jivamukti, Mysore-style self-practice and primal movement: a fun, physical class centered on human movement patterns.
