An Evening with S.A. Cosby

Crime novelist S.A. Cosby brings Marvel’s Luke Cage into a Southern mystery during a conversation at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater in Historic Overtown. Presented by Books & Books on Thursday, October 15, the event marks the release of Cosby’s new novel Truth to Power: A Luke Cage Marvel Crime Novel, with Commissioner Christine King moderating the discussion.

The story follows Luke Cage to rural Virginia, where the death of a cousin draws him into an investigation involving advanced cybernetics, a medical-device factory and a widening conspiracy. Part of the Marvel Crime series, Truth to Power can be read as a stand-alone story and continues Cosby’s work in crime fiction following books including All the Sinners Bleed, Razorblade Tears and Blacktop Wasteland.

Ticket options include $28.99 plus tax for admission for one guest and a copy of the book, as well as a limited number of free-admission tickets without a book. Additional copies will be available for purchase at the event.
