PrintFest
May 03, 2026
From: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
A hands-on festival at The Wolfsonian-FIU highlights printmaking, zines and book arts through interactive activities and a local artist market. Taking place Sunday, May 3, the annual PrintFest brings together artists, designers and visitors for an afternoon of making and exploration on Miami Beach.
The program includes a Small Press Fair featuring more than 20 local artists, along with opportunities to engage directly in print-based practices. Activities include a zine-making station, a free zine giveaway marking a decade of Zines for Progress and a live screen-printing session where participants can bring their own T-shirts. Outdoor programming features cyanotype printing led by artist Liene Bosquê, connected to her exhibition What Still Stands.
Co-presented with SPF South Florida, the event combines historical materials from the museum’s collection with contemporary creative practices. The festival is part of the Wolfsonian’s Discovering Design series, emphasizing community engagement and access to design-focused experiences.
