Trump National Doral Golf Club

Trump’s golf courses – namely, the Trump National Doral Golf Club – is widely considered one of the most sought-after and premier golf resorts in Miami since its Doral opening in 1962. But keep in mind it also has one of the most high-end memberships. It’s renowned among seasoned golfers for its 4 challenging championship courses, including The Red Tiger, The Golden Palm and The Silver Fox. The Blue Monster course – one of the most famous golf courses – was designed by architect Dick Wilson, and has long been esteemed by golf lovers for its challenging water hazards and strategically placed bunkers.

Spanning just under 700 acres in its entirety, the resort also offers stay and play packages, a choice of 5-star luxury amenities for both members and guests, and you can elevate your game at the on-site Trump Golf Academy. Trump National Doral Golf Club is also home to the famous LIV Golf Miami Tournament. Although LIV Golf did not schedule a Miami tournament for the 2026 season, Trump National Doral Golf Club did host a new PGA Tour signature event, the Cadillac Championship, which took place from April 29 to May 3. This competition featured top golfers battling the Blue Monster course to honor the military and veterans.

Biltmore Golf Club

The Biltmore Golf Club in Coral Gables provides a classic golf experience with Old Florida charm since its opening in 1926. It’s famous for its historic championship course designed by famed golf course architect, Donald Ross. It has undergone multiple renovations to mimic its original 1920s design, most recently in 2018.

Another highlight is the iconic 17th hole, featuring a challenging shot over water. One of the on-site restaurants, Fairways at the Biltmore, offers casual American all-day dining (and Sunday a-la-carte brunch) overlooking the standout banyan tree on the first tee of the golf course. Miami Beach Golf Club

Developer Carl Fisher opened the Miami Beach Golf Club in 1923 (known previously as Bayshore Golf Course) as a luxurious winter draw for wealthy residents of northern cities. Today, it’s still a popular course for snowbirds, as it’s conveniently situated in the historic, walkable South Beach community. It underwent a $10 million renovation in 2003 – improving water features for better drainage and challenge, redesigning bunkers and hills, adding a modern practice facility and building a new Art Deco clubhouse. 

It was after this massive transformation that the course became the Miami Beach Golf Club. Highlights include the short par-4 16th and the par-4 18th hole, a restaurant and full-service bar that opens at 6:30 am and individual lessons taught by golf instructors at the on-site Jim McLean Golf School.

Miami Springs Golf & Country Club

The oldest golf course in Miami, Miami Springs Golf & Country Club opened its doors in 1923. Centrally located and just a few minutes from Miami International Airport, its 18-hole course designed by Thomas "Tubby" Martin offers a stimulating experience for golfers of all skill levels. In addition to being one of Miami Springs’ most affordable golf courses, it’s also a night-time accessible practice facility. Lit for evening sessions, you can swing until 9 p.m. There’s also a practice bunker to accommodate those who are newer to the game.

Normandy Shores Golf Club

Normandy Shores Golf Club offers another Miami Beach golf course – north of the Miami Beach Golf Club. This public course is one of the most accessible in the area, while still offering a challenging layout (mostly flat with a few rolling hills). It’s the perfect course for some family tee time, as the PGA-level golf instructors also offer youth lessons – held on Mondays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The on-site restaurant is popular among locals, and reservations are recommended for its specialty brunches on St. Patrick’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day. Miami Shores Country Club

The Miami Shores Country Club opened in 1939 and underwent modernization upgrades at the end of 2011. Miami Shores Country Club includes an 18-hole, par-71 golf course that features 4 sets of tees ranging from 5,000 to 6,700 yards. Located in Miami Shores less than 15 minutes from Downtown Miami, Miami Beach and Miami International Airport, the establishment is certainly easily accessible.

It’s a public course with a daily fee, but it also provides golf memberships for individuals, families and corporations. The clubhouse offers a complete lunch and Friday night dinner menu, and the lounge features a full bar with 28 different beers, as well as an extensive selection of wines and single malt scotches.

Miami Lakes Golf Club

Miami Lakes Golf Club in Miami Lakes is a 500-acre club with a golf course that’s been around since 1962. It underwent its first major renovation and reopened in November 2025. It was redesigned by Bruce Hepner, who returned the course to its original routing and built all new green complexes. The updated club is equipped with an event space, members lounge, pro shop, driving range facility and on-site restaurant.
