Miami Beach Hotels
- June 23, 2026
Miami Beach hotels are some of the most recognizable in the world, renowned for their Art Deco design and luxury accommodations. And if you’re looking for hotels in Miami Beach, your options range from small boutiques by the ocean to large resorts with gourmet restaurants. Many boast fascinating history, too, where you can lounge by the same pool as Frank Sinatra and walk through lobbies you’ve seen in countless movies and TV shows. Whatever your vacation holds, these Miami hotels all make for an unforgettable stay.

The Betsy - South Beach
On a street as architecturally iconic as Ocean Drive, standing out is hard. But the Betsy South Beach is an anomaly in the sea of South Beach hotels’ Art Deco with its colonial columns, the lone building designed in this style. The Betsy stands out in other ways, too, as a luxury boutique hotel that’s also a retreat for local artists.
Nightly live jazz in the lobby brings a sophisticated crowd, and regular poetry readings and other performances make The Betsy a community gathering place. The Betsy’s rear, alley-facing walls are covered in murals, with an egg-shaped skybridge hanging curiously between its 2 buildings. The food at The Betsy is art in and of itself – guests can dine on prime steaks at LT Steak & Seafood or savor wood-fired pizzas out back at The Alley.

Delano Miami Beach
For years the Delano was an icon of South Beach glam, where celebrities hung out at the Rose Bar and locals gathered by the beach bar or for long nights at the Florida Room. After a 6-year hiatus, the historic Collins Avenue gem reopened in March 2026, maintaining much of its Art Deco brilliance that made it a landmark.
The long swimming pool has gotten a big upgrade, featuring private cabanas and tropical foliage. There’s also a private members club on the fourth floor with its own pool area, plus an outpost of Mimi Kakushi, one of the top-rated cocktail bars in Dubai. The Delano’s main restaurant Gigi Rigolatto brings a slice of the Italian riviera to Miami Beach.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach
The name Fontainebleau is synonymous with vacations in Miami, and no discussion of the best hotels in Miami Beach is complete without mentioning it. The venerable Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a Mid Beach landmark designed by famed architect Morris Lapidus. It’s appeared in countless movies and TV shows, from “Goldfinger” in the 1960s and “Scarface” in the 1980s to most recently, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”
It’s instantly recognizable, with its curved exterior and familiar sites – from the elegant Bleau Bar in the lobby to the oft-Instagrammed pool deck. It’s also home to one of Miami Beach’s best clubs – LIV – and a collection of fine restaurants.

Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach
The Eden Roc is another Morris Lapidus gem, set just next door to the Fontainebleau in Mid Beach. It’s a stunning example of Miami Beach mid-century architecture with a sprawling resort pool, spacious back lawn and prime access to the Miami Beach boardwalk.
Its restaurants are as much a destination as the hotel itself, boasting one of the few true oceanfront eateries in Miami Beach at Ocean Social, as well as famed sushi spot, Nobu. Speaking of Nobu, the Eden Roc also houses the Nobu Hotel Miami, a hotel within a hotel emanating Asian luxury with a private adults-only pool.

Faena Hotel Miami Beach
Argentinian art magnate Alan Faena lends his signature style to Faena Hotel Miami Beach, a grand, luxurious property in Mid Beach. Enter through a sea of gold pillars and Renaissance-inspired murals, then walk out back and take a picture in front of the signature 24-karat-gold-plated mammoth skeleton sculpture, “Gone But Not Forgotten,” by Damien Hirst.
The Faena Theater brings the hotel show back to Miami Beach, with live jazz and original theater productions playing just off the main lobby. You’ll also find 2 of Miami Beach’s best restaurants at the Faena: Los Fuegos by Francis Mallman and Pao by Paul Qui.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel
The landmark spire atop the Loews Miami Beach Hotel has been a symbol of the South Beach skyline for decades. The Miami beachside hotel is one of the largest and grandest in Miami Beach, with nearly 800 guest rooms. Its Sea Spa is one of the destination’s best spas, as well as one of the most popular spas to book during the annual Miami Spa Months.
New York’s popular Italian restaurant Rao’s opened its Miami Beach outpost at The Loews, bringing old-school Italian-American dining to the resort with easier reservations to snag than the East Harlem original.

The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach
The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach at the eastern end of Lincoln Road recently completed a massive, multi-million-dollar renovation that puts it at the forefront of luxury hotels in South Beach. From a sparkling new lobby filled with modern art installations to the panoramic club lounge on one of the top floors, the added amenities have made the Miami resort a must for well-heeled travelers. In addition to its prime location, the hotel is also home to beloved Mediterranean restaurant Zaytinya, where guests can enjoy food from Chef José Andrés as they lounge by the pool. For drinks by the sand, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach offers the DiLido Beach Bar, right on the boardwalk.

The Setai
Immerse yourself in Asian-inspired luxury at the hotel at The Setai, one of the most elegantly designed luxury hotels in South Beach. The Setai is a full-service resort where you can shop at luxury boutiques, work out in its massive fitness center and enjoy beachside drinks at Ocean Grill. The hotel is popular among locals for its Sunday brunch, where live jazz in the central courtyard accompanies a spread of fresh fruit, sushi, pasta, steaks and fresh-baked desserts.
By night, Jaya at The Setai transforms into one of Miami’s most romantic restaurants, where red lights flicker, acrobats perform in the courtyard and South Asian specialties fill your plate. You also must try Japón, a sushi spot that serves an exquisite omakase menu.

W South Beach
Years ago, W South Beach forged a reputation as the place to be for Miami Beach’s best pool parties and elevated nightlife. The W has matured over the past decade, evolving from a luxurious party spot to a well-appointed family destination. Now, you’ll find parents and children relaxing by the sprawling lagoon pool, secluded from the masses by palm trees and tropical foliage. Rooms were recently renovated, bringing a chic, all-white decor that emanates South Beach style.

1 Hotel South Beach
Nature and sustainability are at the heart of everything at 1 Hotel South Beach, from the plant-filled lobby to the amenities inside every room. This luxury hotel radiates a feeling of calm as soon as you step inside, with a woodsy scent making it feel a bit like a luxury-eco lodge.
You can head up to the rooftop pool and its adjacent restaurant Watr at the 1, with panoramic views from the Atlantic Ocean to the Downtown Miami skyline. Chef Michael Solomonov recently helms the kitchen at AVIV on the ground floor, bringing an exciting blend of Israeli flavors and regular hummus-making classes.
