From hot culinary scenes to SOBEWFF parties, these are the best hotels to stay in during the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

So you’re coming to Miami for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (or if you’re hip to the lingo, simply SOBEWFF) and trying to decide where to stay? The good news is you’ll be within walking distance to most festival parties and events from just about any hotel in South Beach. Need some inspiration? These are our favorite South Beach hotels for foodies, many of which are hosting official festival events and parties.

Loews Miami Beach

Loews Miami Beach is the official Host hotel of South Beach Wine & Food Festival and serves as the headquarters for celebrity chefs and the festival’s best parties. It’s also a foodie destination in its own right, home to Lure Fishbar by Burger Bash-winning chef Josh Capon, as well as an impressive cocktail program designed by celebrity mixologist Julio Cabrera.

2018 SOBEWFF Events: Friday’s Oyster Bash hosted by Chef Capon, Saturday and Sunday’s Buddhas & Bellinis yoga class, Sunday’s Southern Kitchen Brunch hosted by Trisha Yearwood and many more.

Hyatt Centric

Directly across the street from Loews Miami Beach, you’ll find the lifestyle hotel Hyatt Centric, providing a great, affordable option for accommodations during SOBEWFF. The hotel boasts a sophisticated, yet casual lobby restaurant specializing in Spanish tapas, as well as a charming rooftop plunge pool.

1 Hotel South Beach

1 Hotel South Beach is home to the newly opened Habitat restaurant by local chef Jose Mendin, a stellar rooftop bar and restaurant and vegan celebrity chef Matthew Kenney’s Plnthouse, making it a diverse destination for foodies. The sophisticated, eco-chic décor, lavish poolscape and extra large guest rooms are also a draw.

2018 SOBEWFF Events: Barry’s Bootcamp & Bites hosted by Robert Irvine and Dinner at Habitat hosted by Rick Bayless and Mendin.

W South Beach

W South Beach is a perennial favorite amongst celebrities for its festive pool and lobby scene, Wall nightclub and Mr. Chow and The Dutch restaurants. The hotel’s impressive contemporary art collection and chic, modern rooms also keep the celebs coming back for more.

2018 SOBEWFF Events: Chicken Coupe hosted by Chef Andrew Carmellini.

The Betsy Hotel

South Beach The Betsy represents rare colonial-style architecture amidst Ocean Drive’s Art Deco District providing a sophisticated retreat in this bustling part of town. With an eye towards art and culture, they also have impressive culinary offerings with the new LT Steak & Food and Panther Coffee Shop.

2018 SOBEWFF Events: The Betsy positions guests near the entrance to the Grand Tasting Village.

Delano

The Delano is one of South Beach’s most iconic hotels. Designed by Philippe Starck to evoke Alice in Wonderland’s journey down the rabbit hole, the lobby boasts pieces by Salvador Dali and Antoni Gaudi. It’s recently undergone a food and beverage refresh with the new Argentinean restaurant Leynia and nightclub Doheny Room.

2018 SOBEWFF Events: The Delano positions guests at the entrance of the North Beach tent for some of the weekend’s hottest bashes including Barilla’s Italian Bites on the Beach, Rum & Beach Bash and Burger Bash.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Recently named by Miami.com as the best foodie hotel in Miami, the Fontainebleau is home to fine dining restaurants like StripSteak by celebrity chef Michael Mina, Scarpetta by Scott Conant and the haute Cantonese London import Hakkasan. Couple that with LIV nightclub and a sprawling poolside and you’ve got one of the hottest scenes on the beach.

2018 SOBEWFF Events: Wine Spectator’s Best of the Best.

Nautilus hotel

Nautilus is one of the splashiest South Beach hotels to arrive in recent years with a raucous pool party scene on the weekend and the Nautilus Cabana Club restaurant featuring chic, outdoor seating and a Mediterranean-inspired menu. It’s also home to an impressive contemporary art collection and cushy rooms. For more information about the festival, or call 877-762-3933.
