Getting Around Miami Without a Car is Easy - Use the Trolleys!

Not only is traveling by trolley a fun way to explore Miami and Miami Beach, in most neighborhoods - like Miami Beach - it's also free. Here's what you need to know about navigating the trolley system in Miami.

The free Miami Beach trolley runs Monday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 8 a.m. to midnight, and with 4 routes to choose from, traveling around Miami Beach's South Beach, Mid-Beach , Collins Ave. and North Beach neighborhoods is easier than ever.

How Often Do Miami Beach Trolleys Run?

The Miami Beach trolleys run throughout the day around every 15 minutes depending on the route, with Mid-Beach and North Beach being the fastest to pick you up and the Collins Express trolley coming in second.

Where Does the Miami Beach Trolley Go?

The South Beach trolley loop makes stops along several roads and stretches from 5th street (the popular SoFi neighborhood) to Lincoln Road. There's also a North Beach trolley loop that makes stops from North Beach to Normandy Isle. There is the Middle Beach trolley loop that operates along 41st Street and Collins Avenue. The Collins Express trolley route links the Middle Beach and North Beach trolleys so you can hop on and off to visit all your favorite stops along the way.

City of Miami Trolley

For visitors to Miami, the most popular trolley routes include the loops around Downtown Miami and Brickell, as well as new routes to Wynwood and the Design District. The air-conditioned trolleys are free and run from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. for most locations. Please see the Miami Trolley Hours of Operation for an exact schedule as it occasionally changes. Sometimes the City of Miami expands the schedule for Miami HEAT games, Art Basel and other special events.

Coral Gables Trolley

The free Coral Gables trolley service runs every 12-15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Gallery Night (the first Friday of the month) until 10 p.m. Check out the Coral Gables trolley schedule and route or follow along in real-time with the trolley location map.

The City of Doral trolley runs on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. with a modified schedule on weekends. Miami Gardens Trolley

The City of Miami Gardens offers three free trolley routes with stops at Hard Rock Stadium, St. Thomas University, and Miami Gardens City Hall, among others. The Miami Gardens trolley runs daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visit the Miami Gardens Express Route Map for route map and schedule information.
