This is an ideal area to check out during Miami Spice Restaurants Months, from August 1 through September 30. It’s the perfect time to enjoy some of the most delicious restaurants in Coral Gables. Many of the top restaurants in Coral Gables are offering three-course Miami Spice tasting menus. Take advantage of specially curated menus that range from $30 or $35 for lunch and/or brunch to $45 or $60 for dinner. Please note that Miami Spice menus are subject to change.

Fiola Miami: Italian-Inspired Dishes

MICHELIN-recommended Fiola Miami is a can’t-miss spot during Miami Spice as this upscale restaurant always aims to impress with its excellent service, sophisticated atmosphere and Italian-inspired dishes. Chef Daniel Ganem has perfected a menu filled with decadent pastas and traditional Italian fare. During Miami Spice, diners will find brunch (on Sundays only), lunch and dinner offerings. Start with fresh peach gazpacho before moving on to one of the handmade pastas, like the lumachine cacio e pepe or spaghetti pomodoro. During dinner, the plates get heartier with a wood-oven-roasted Duroc pork chop and braised Wagyu beef cheeks served with polenta, parmigiano, caramelized cipollini onion and a savory osso bucco sauce. End on a sweet note with a delicious raspberry panna cotta or classic budino di cioccolato served with whipped cream and toasted pine nuts.

Fairways: Golf Course Dining at The Biltmore

One of Miami’s most historic hotels, The Biltmore Hotel Miami - Coral Gables, is also home to a championship golf course that features quite the hidden gem of a restaurant. Fairways at the Biltmore is situated right off the course, overlooking the massive banyan tree that marks the first tee. After working up an appetite on the course, head here for a Miami Spice treat where the dinner menu features starters like meatballs served with Pomodoro and grilled ciabatta or a well-dressed Fairways salad. Moving on to entrees, you’ll find a coffee-rubbed churrasco, the signature Fairways Burger, Florida rock shrimp mac n’ cheese, and a Fairways Smokehouse Sampler that’s piled high with smoked chicken, spare ribs, pulled pork and more. Top it off with the Tahitian vanilla cheesecake, and you’ve got yourself quite a meal.

Eating House: Seasonal Flavors from a “Chopped” Champion

This beloved restaurant on the Giralda Plaza pedestrian walkway is helmed by “Chopped” champion, Giorgio Rapicavoli, who has been dazzling diners with his flavor-forward menu since 2012. This year for Miami Spice, Eating House will feature a dinner menu with appetizer options ranging from kung pao cauliflower with herb salad, cucumber radish, sesame and peanuts to a red shrimp ‘al ajillo’ made with citrus mojo butter and grilled focaccia. When it comes to entrees, don’t skip the carbonara, which is one of Rapicavoli’s signature dishes. For dessert, you can indulge in nostalgic dishes like The Dirt Cup with hazelnuts, chocolate, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream or the cereal milk panna cotta with condensed milk mousse, candied Cap'n Crunch and vanilla bean salt.

MesaMar: Coastal-Inspired Dining

MesaMar Seafood Table, also located on Giralda, offers a coastal-inspired dining experience where turquoise chandeliers dangle from the ceilings and bookshelves show off treasures from the sea. The menu here focuses on seafood with a mix of Asian and Latin flavors. During Miami Spice, you’ll find lunch offers that start with tuna tacos or a velvety lobster bisque, paired with entree options like grilled branzino in a mushroom sauce, and shrimp linguine with a buttery garlic sauce. Dinner features main choices such as lobster ravioli with vodka sauce, a New York strip steak and a special MesaMar paella with a combination of lobster, shrimp, calamari, scallops, mussels and green peas cooked in yellow rice.

Levant: A Middle Eastern Culinary Gem

Craving Middle Eastern cuisine? Then Levant should most definitely be on your radar. The restaurant is offering both lunch and dinner Miami Spice menus most days of the week. Guests can feast on appetizers like hummus and baba ghanoush before moving on to a variety of kabab offerings at lunch (chicken, lamb or salmon) served with rice and salad. The smoked branzino is a highlight of the dinner menu. Round out the meal at either time of day with a super craveable chocolate baklava covered in honey and decadent chocolate.

Ruth’s Chris: A Classic Steakhouse Experience

Not many things can beat a classic steakhouse experience, and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Coral Gables knows how to deliver. During Miami Spice, diners can enjoy a special dinner every day of the week. Choose from a roasted tomato crab soup, steakhouse salad, or a classic Caesar salad to start, before moving on to the star of the show: the proteins. Select between an 8-ounce filet, a 16-ounce New York strip, stuffed chicken breast, or sizzling crab cakes. Save room to indulge in a mini Key lime pie for dessert.

The Gibson Room: Late Night Eats & Martinis

Tucked along Coral Way, about a mile east of Coral Gables, The Gibson Room is one of the newer concepts from the Ariete Hospitality team. It’s known for its cozy atmosphere and for serving late-night eats and cold martinis. From Sunday through Thursday, guests can score a Miami Spice dinner deal at this MICHELIN-recommended restaurant. Start off with grilled oysters or the eggplant with pesto, pistachios and stracciatella before moving on to the mains, which are highlighted by the pork schnitzel with braised cabbage and apple and blackberry gastrique. The sticky toffee pudding is a must-try when it’s time for dessert.
