Where to Eat In Mid Beach

By Tracy Block - July 28, 2026

Running from 24th to 60th Streets in Miami Beach, the beautiful coastal stretch known as Mid Beach is home to countless chef-driven hotel restaurants and iconic spots for oceanfront dining. In this guide, you’ll find our top picks for some of the best dining Miami Beach has to offer, including farm-to-table Mexican and international fusion that’ll warm your soul with every bite.

Red bougainvillea & lush green plants on Matador's Patio
Enjoy a meal on Matador Room's patio.

    Matador Room

Inside The Miami Beach EDITION, MICHELIN three-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten is at the helm of Matador Room, a signature Miami Beach restaurant that specializes in modern Latin fusion. Here, you’ll find glamorous mid-century design nods, including curved forms, a sunken dining room and an original chandelier.

Locally sourced ingredients star in small and large shared plates inspired by Spanish, South American and Caribbean cuisines. Standouts include the elevated arroz con pollo and a sweet pea guacamole topped with toasted sunflower seeds. Outside, the terrace is a dreamy spot to take in the EDITION’s stunning poolscape.

    Variety of dishes from Motek
Savor bold Middle Eastern flavors at Motek Miami Beach.

    Motek Miami Beach

Israeli-inspired Motek is known for serving some of the best food in Miami, and the Miami Beach outpost on Collins Avenue is where to go for group-friendly dining all day, or a late dinner of elevated Middle Eastern street eats. The ambiance is as warm as the food, which includes dishes from Israel, Morocco, Lebanon and Yemen.

Motek’s all-day menu brings together regulars for both hot and cold mezzes – scooped up with fresh, oven-fired pita – along with falafel, shakshuka, crispy chicken schnitzel, kebabs, a variety of salads, steaks, classic plates and, of course, the famed Arayes Burger slathered in tahini and harissa aioli.

Assortment of Dim Sum at Hakkasan
Experience elevated Cantonese dining at Hakkasan Miami.

    Hakkasan Miami

A chic hideaway at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, reserve a table at Hakkasan Miami for upscale Cantonese cuisine. The award-winning dining spot is one of the best restaurants in Miami Beach, serving exceptional dim sum (including a popular dim sum brunch on Sundays) in a stunning setting, alongside wok-fried entrees.

Pillowy steamed dumplings burst with lobster, shrimp, scallop, mushroom and black rice. The Peking duck is an experience, but for something different, try the roasted Pipa duck featuring rich slices encased in crispy skin, minus the pancakes. Wok-seared beef rice noodles get better with every bite, as do any of the fried rices. Inventive cocktails, an array of sake and New World wines (including an optional pairing) round out a meal here.

    Pikio Taco

Farm-to-taco-style cooking features at Pikio Taco, a colorful and sustainability-minded Mexican spot at Hotel Rendale Miami Beach. Inspired by the rich traditions of Puebla, every bite has been crafted with intention, made with high-quality ingredients sourced from local farms. Whether it’s al pastor, carne asada or the daily catch, each taco shines with authentic flavor and culinary artistry.

Beyond tacos, you’ll find chips with fresh-made guacamole and salsa roja, street corn, quesadillas, burritos, burgers, enchiladas and grilled churrasco, plus churros and tres leches for dessert. There’s also a breakfast menu with tacos, burritos, bagels, croissants, avocado toast and a range of cocktails.

Plated Cobia dish served at Aguasal
Try the fresh coastal flavors of AGUASAL.

    Aguasal by José Andrés

From the superstar Spanish-American chef and humanitarian José Andrés, Aguasal is the flagship restaurant at the newly reimagined Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa. Ideal for a laidback-luxe meal by the water, this Mediterranean-meets-Miami spot feels a bit like dining in a chic grotto, with rustic stone flooring and porthole-style skylights that look up to the swimming pool.

The coastal-inspired menu takes cues from Miami, Majorca and Mykonos, incorporating Florida’s rich bounty and elevating familiar dishes via masterful preparations and fragrant herbs. Complement dishes like grilled octopus, fried snapper and chicken tagine with lively cocktails spiced with za’atar and cardamom.

Cecconi's Miami Beach at Soho Beach House

Cecconi’s stands as a modern day classic in Miami Beach, serving up simply prepared, Venetian-style Italian food in a gorgeous indoor-outdoor setting at the trendy Soho Beach House. Inside, the restaurant spans the main lobby of the boutique hotel and members club, with a dramatic chandelier that’s the perfect backdrop for the popular weekend brunch spread or a late-night glass of wine and charcuterie.

Outside, the garden terrace twinkles with bistro lighting strung though lush foliage. It’s a warm and festive atmosphere for groups to gather over vibrant crudos, wood oven pizzas, rustic fresh pastas and impeccably executed proteins. Yes, you can order Soho’s famed Picante de la Casa cocktail here, and don’t skip the tiramisu and profiteroles for dessert.

Sea urchin dish served at Pao by Paul Qui
Discover refined coastal flavors in Pao by Paul Qui.

    Pao by Paul Qui

One of several culinary highlights at the luxurious Faena Miami Beach, celebrated chef Paul Qui’s Pao makes a statement as bold and theatrical as the hotel itself. The menu of modern Asian cuisine draws from his background and range of international styles, filled with crudo specialties, original rice dishes and fresh fish and meats seared table-side over Japanese binchotan charcoal.

Dig into favorites such as the 72-hour Wagyu short rib, Korean-inspired fried chicken and Ora King salmon aguachile as you take in the stunning golden unicorn sculpture by artist Damian Hirst perched beneath a dramatic gold-dome ceiling. Drinks likewise blend South American and Asian flavors, as in the Up to Yu cocktail made with pisco, tequila, passion-yuzu sherbet and a floral garnish.
