‘Tis the season to toast to all things merry and bright in Greater Miami & Miami Beach. And what better way to ring in the season than with holiday cocktails at many of our favorite places to drink … bars, lounges and nightcap spots where mixologists are shaking, stirring and pouring special sips.

We’ve rounded up the best seasonal cocktails and holiday pop-up bars in the destination for some extra-happy happy hours and indulgent beverages.

Celebrate With Grinch Coquitos at Santa Diabla

Pull aside the green curtain at Chela’s in Miami Lakes to reveal a holiday bar spectacle you won’t want to miss. Not only does How the Grinch Stole Santa Diabla: A Christmas Bar at Santa Diabla, the restaurant’s European-style speakeasy, mix a mean Grinch Coquito (our favorite spiked Puerto Rican recipe) but you can also order up hearty tapas, such as empanadas and burgers, along with freshly baked cookies.

On Wednesday nights, after a few rounds, belt your favorite holiday tunes at karaoke night. Reservations are required. Your visit is limited to one hour, 45 minutes through December 27.

All We Want for Christmas is Mariah’s Holiday Bar

If all you want for Christmas is an adults-only Mariah Carey pop-up bar, Ray’s Hometown Bar, at the Freehand Miami in Mid Beach, is hosting the ultimate Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar in honor of the Queen of Christmas herself. This timed experience has Mariah-themed decor, larger-than-life album backdrops, immersive photo moments and plenty of holiday accents.

Celebrate with a welcome shot, mimosa, or cocktail (featuring Mariah’s own Black Irish, of course), with additional bites for purchase. Move over, Santa. Here, you’ll write letters to Mariah, plus you can shop for limited-edition vinyl and dance to the pop star’s signature Christmas hits.

This joyful celebration featuring daytime brunch to late-night experiences runs through December 28.

In addition to coquitos, you can sip and savor a Yule Mule, Chocotini, Noel Margarita, Freezer Martini or Santa’s Smokey Pecan Old Fashioned.

Enjoy Holiday Photos & Cocktails at Divebar

Winter vibes meet retro cheer at The Jingle Joint Holiday Pop-Up Bar at Divebar inside Hotel Continental Miami Beach, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Mid Beach. Sparkling with 1950s glamour and tinsel, bright-glass ornaments and playful vintage flair, the spot sets a festive mood. Nosh on bar snacks, raise a glass with a Christmas Morning Mimosa or a Peppermint Coquito and stop by the holiday photo booth nightly from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m through December 31.

Donate a Toy, Get a Drink at The Sylvester

Transforming for the holidays with over-the-top, maximalist decor, The Sylvester, located across the street from The Shops at Midtown, is bringing much more than seasonal cheer. Starting Tuesday, December 2, bring a new, unwrapped toy and you’ll receive a complimentary cocktail. The limited-time holiday drinks menu brings a lot of merry with a hint of messy. Think Santa’s Side Chick, Nog-Roni Flip, Rum Rum Rudolph and more along with a trio of shots: Naughty, Nice and the OG. The pop-up is open through Saturday, December 27.

Drink to 12 Days of Christmas at J’Adore

J’Adore, Ocean Drive’s newest cabaret-style supper club, is rolling out a holiday showtime calendar with 12 Days of Christmas. At each show, you can enjoy three limited-time cocktails. Sip Christmas in Paradise, with rum, marshmallow and graham cracker vibes; 12 Days of Rye, with Bulleit rye and blueberry jam; and Santa’s Night Cap, featuring Johnnie Walker Black and holiday spices. The 12th day is on Christmas Eve and will feature a black-tie grand finale.

Experience the fun from December 13 through the 24.

Toast & Sparkle at Lobby Bar

Then spend some time at the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club in Mid Beach, where you can kick things off at the Lobby Bar with a St-Germain Snowfall Spritz, glimmering in edible glitter and a sugared rosemary sprig.

Close with a Cozy Treat at Bungalow Beach Bar & Grill

Then head to Bungalow Beach Bar & Grill for the decadent S’mores in the Sand: Havana Club rum, chocolate liqueur, coconut cream, marshmallow syrup and cold brew served over ice with a graham cracker rim, toasted mini marshmallows and chocolate drizzle.

The fun never stops at Miami’s best bars for cocktails.
