La Cañita

Amelia’s 1931

Since first bubbling up on the scene with her wildly successful Finka Table & Tap in Kendall, Eileen Andrade has become synonymous with soulful cooking that blends her Cuban heritage and passion for Korean cuisine. At Amelia’s 1931, Andrade presents her version of a Cuban-inspired diner, melding Cuban and Asian influences in a sultry speakeasy-styled space.

Highlights include the braised oxtail and lamb chops with ají amarillo, salsa criolla and Peruvian cilantro rice; and a Cuban pork katsu with a panko crust, white rice, friseé and hoisin. Or go for the deeply umami mushroom and short rib ravioli with chili-garlic, passion fruit and Parmesan sauce. Apocalypse BBQ
