Music Festivals in Miami
- February 11, 2026
Whether you’re seeking the exciting grooves of soul or funk music, the laid-back vibe of jazz, the thrill of techno, cool international beats, or maybe some chilled-out country music jams, Greater Miami & Miami Beach has a music festival for that. In some cases, you can find all of those genres and more in a single event, a testament to the destination’s eclectic tastes and multicultural influences.
Many of the music festivals take on the distinctive local flavors of the neighborhoods they call home. No matter the season, you’ll find plenty of musical magic to explore in Miami, where you can frolic outdoors and sway to the tropical vibes year-round.

South Beach Jazz Festival
Early January
It’s jazz, jazz and more jazz at the South Beach Jazz Festival. The four-day event features locally and internationally renowned artists performing in various locales in Miami Beach. Whether you’re in the mood for bebop, big band, Dixieland, fusion or swing, you’ll find it here. The majority of the shows at the South Beach Jazz Festival are free.
The festival was founded by R. David New, an artist who became blind as an adult. His not-for-profit organization, Power Access, produces the event. Each festival features one or more performers with disabilities.
We Belong Here
Late February/Early March
Historic Virginia Key Beach Park plays host to good vibes by the shoreline at We Belong Here, a community-driven EDM music festival known for its sunset house tunes and melodic techno sets. There’s a 360-degree main stage as the focal point to encourage all-around connection.

This year’s lineup features 60 musical acts, including heavy-hitters like Kaskade Redux, Elderbrook, Chris Lake, Lake 9, Tiesto (who will spin a three-hour sunset set), Gorgon City, Bakermat, Lost Frequencies and many more. Expect expanded arts programming and more culinary options, too.
The festival is set for Friday, February 27 from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday, February 28, from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday, March 1 from 3 p.m. to midnight. Tickets start at $89.99.

The festival is a tribute to the timeless legacy of trumpet player and Miami music educator, Melton “Shakir” Mustafa.
Musical performances take center stage – and complement dinners and cigar lounges – but workshops, poetry slams and masterclasses also strike a chord. The fest is dedicated to Dr. Dawn Batson, the late Esaa Mustafa, Zakiyyah Mustafa and Melton Mustafa Sr., in honor of their contributions to the advancement and preservation of jazz. This year, beloved jazz radio host The Real Tracy Fields emcees.
Entertainers in 2026 include The Jesse Jones, Jr. Quartet, the Funk Jazz All Stars, FMU Alumni Chorale, FMU Alumni Steel Pan Ensemble, Melton Mustafa Orchestra and more.
