Miami Spice Restaurants in Doral
- June 25, 2025
Doral is a vibrant neighborhood located west of Miami International Airport, and its lively restaurant scene is ever-expanding. During Miami Spice Restaurant Months in August and September, you can enjoy three-course, prix fixe meals at some of the neighborhood’s best restaurants for $35 for lunch or brunch and $45 or $60 for dinner. So go west and enjoy some great eating in Doral.

Japanese/Latin Fusion at Taikin Asian Cuisine
A relaxed atmosphere makes Taikin Asian Cuisine a wonderful spot to share a meal with loved ones. You’ll find Latin spins on traditional Japanese flavors and unique tastes you’ll remember long after your meal ends.
For lunch or dinner, Miami Spice months are a great time to try the tuna taco dinner appetizer followed by the Midori roll (Scottish salmon, smoked sweet bacon, avocado and pistachio cream) entree and tres leches for dessert. Lobster tostones, tuna tartare, seared skirt steak, a shrimp burger and other rolls are also on the $45 dinner menu, served Sunday-Thursday.
For Miami Spice lunch, served every day, try the ceviche aji amarillo appetizer, beef short rib, salmon poke entree or one of many other choices and end your meal with tres leches or key lime pie.

Bold Flavors at Bonsai Sushi Bar
Bonsai Sushi Bar is the definition of a fusion restaurant. Imagine a precise balance between the spicy flavors of Nikkei and Thai cuisine with a Caribbean twist.
For lunch, served every day, choose between appetizers like bacon sake or truffle gyozas (pork dumplings). Then savor the South Beach roll with salmon, avocado, tuna tataki and ponzu sauce, the tropical roll with salmon, kani osaki and cream cheese or seafood risotto.
Treat your sweet tooth to Oreo cheesecake for dessert. For $45 dinner, served Sunday-Thursday, enjoy a wide variety of appetizers, including truffle hamachi tiradito and short rib bao buns, two choices of entree rolls, pan-seared salmon, or an hibachi mix with steak, chicken and shrimp.
The decadent desserts include tempura cheesecake and Nutella marquise.

A Sumptuous Lunch Buffet at Blue Matisse
Nestled within the InterContinental at Doral Miami hotel, Blue Matisse serves Latin-inspired food with a global twist, crafted from locally sourced ingredients.
You can stop by any night for the $45 Miami Spice menu, but the real attraction is the sprawling lunch buffet. From Monday-Friday, enjoy unlimited tapas, ceviches, tirados, sushi, specialty entrees, hand-carved meats, sides, salads, and a mini dessert and cakes station. The selection changes daily depending on what’s fresh.
You’ll also get a glass of wine, beer or cava (sparkling wine). For dinner, prawn chowder, grilled filet mignon and branzino are on the menu.

Modern Meals at 107 Steak & Bar
If you’re staying at Element Miami Doral, it’s hard to miss 107 Steak & Bar, the onsite restaurant serving modern cuisine made with fresh ingredients. But even if you’re not a hotel guest, it’s worth checking out this restaurant during Miami Spice Restaurant Months.
For dinner ($60), served Monday-Saturday, start with golden Manchego truffle croquettes or homestyle burrata cheese, then dig into a bone-in Kansas City strip steak, rigatoni with braised short ribs or seared branzino. Top off your meal with their pink, meringue-based dessert with fresh strawberries and dulce de leche or homemade cheesecake.
Highlights of the Saturday brunch menu include braised short rib truffle croquettes, steak and eggs, and chicken and waffles topped with homemade whiskey maple syrup.
On weekdays, lunch tempts with fried calamari, a 10-ounce picanha steak, seared corvina, mushroom chicken, chocolate mouse cake and tiramisu.

Andean Fare at Mordisco
The food you’ll find at Mordisco draws from classic Andean flavors from Venezuela and Colombia, all tied together with Caribbean culinary techniques.
If you come for lunch, try the crunchy cheese cachapa balls as your appetizer, lomo saltado for your main course and quesillo (flan coated in a rich caramel sauce) for dessert.
The dinner menu features popular Latin dishes like chicharron, carne en vara with two sides, and Venezuelan chocolate marquesa. Both menus are offered every day of the week.
