North Beach Bandshell

Located beachside in the North Shore Historic District, North Beach Bandshell is an open-air amphitheater known for its consistent lineup of international and local musicians. The historic venue, managed by Rhythm Foundation since 2015, has welcomed acts ranging from Devendra Bernhardt to Alice Coltrane to Kurt Vile and has also hosted music festivals such as the Transatlantic Festival. In 2016, it received recognition as "Best Venue" from New Times Best of Miami.

Since its construction in 1961, the Bandshell has brought the community together as a gathering place for cultural events and entertainment. From big band performances to the seasonal Mike Douglas Show location and once even a roller skating rink, it has undergone various transformations and was finally restored to its former glory in 2011.

The Bandshell is conveniently located off of Collins Avenue with public parking available at 73rd Street and Collins (free after 6pm). Food and drinks are offered once inside the bandshell property, however, no outside food or drink is allowed - unless it's Food Truck night, which happens once a month.

If you are party planning and interested in holding an event here, the space accommodates 1,350 general admission concertgoers (500 catered seating) and is available for performance and event rental.
