Hear rare musical gems from the Baroque and Classical eras at Seraphic Fire's fourth annual Enlightenment Festival, featuring two weeks of concert programs from February 15-25, at various venues across South Florida. This year's festival highlights the music of the 18th century, a period that signifies the transition between the Baroque and Classical periods. Continuing its commitment to showcasing lesser-known yet historically significant works, Seraphic Fire will perform a trio of Baroque choral works by father and son Alessandro and Domenico Scarlatti during Week 1 and a trio of chorus and chamber orchestra works by Franz Joseph Haydn during Week 2.
