Experience Frost Science in a sensory-friendly way during the museum's Just for Me sessions. Frost Science offers a welcoming space for families with diverse sensory and accessibility needs through their Just for Me program. This program allows families to explore the museum in a comfortable and accepting environment with reduced sound and lighting adjustments throughout the exhibits.
During April, the Just for Me program features a special tactile activation called What's That Matter? on Saturday, April 17 and Sunday, April 21. This activity focuses on the science of matter through touch and sight. Participants will get to explore various textures of slime, oobleck and other materials, helping them discover the different states of matter in a fun and hands-on way.
Just for Me events are a great opportunity for families to connect and share experiences while fostering a love of science in a welcoming environment. You can learn more about a typical visit through Frost Science's Social Narrative.
