Get ready for April's highly-anticipated solar eclipse, a breathtaking celestial event where the Moon perfectly aligns with the Sun, obscuring our view from Earth. While Miami will experience it as a partial solar eclipse, the spectacle promises to be memorable. Beginning on April 8 at 1:47 p.m., the eclipse will reach its peak at 3:01 p.m., with 45% of the Sun's disk obscured, before concluding at 4:13 p.m.
To prepare for this historic event Frost Science presents Solar Eclipse Weekend, from April 6-7. Attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the science and history of eclipses through engaging educational activities and a special Frost Planetarium show. Also in preparation for the partial eclipse viewing on April 8, solar eclipse glasses will be available for purchase at the Science Store.
