The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
This event has passed.
Plunge into the demented world of the 1920s silent horror classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligary at a screening hosted by O Cinema on Sunday, October 22. This iconic black-and-white film delves into the nightmare realm of Dr. Caligari, where a carnival sleepwalker named Cesare is led by Caligari to perpetrate a series of ghastly murders in the town of Hostenwall.
The film screening kicks off at 5:30 PM with a pre-film horror talk by Wolfsonian chief librarian and curator of library collections Frank Luca. Get even more psyched about the movie by stopping by The Wolfsonian beforehand, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, for the museum's Halloween bash, Howl-O-Ween at The Wolf: A Day of Dreadful Fun.
This screening is co-presented with O Cinema South Beach and FIU Humanities Edge.
