Located in the The Local House hotel in South Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood, Local House has the vibe of a Hampton’s seaside private club serving largely Mediterranean-inspired spa cuisine. Inside the restaurant, a warm and inviting dining room accommodates only 28 diners, and a cozy eight-seat lazy-dog-lanterned bar has a specialty drink program that has been recognized for innovative creations that incorporate ingredients like oysters and caviar in martinis. You can enjoy the South Beach weather here since al fresco dining is also available on casual couches and communal plank tables. The menu has offerings like truffled lobster mac n cheese with smoked gouda, a beachside burger with tomato jam and onion aioli, and crab cake benedict with perfectly poached eggs.
