Miami Steakhouses

Steak dinner

Miami's Best Steakhouses

By Amber Love Bond - March 30, 2026

Greater Miami and Miami Beach may be celebrated for its global flavors, but when the craving calls for a perfectly seared ribeye or a towering tomahawk, the destination delivers in style. Whether you’re planning a milestone birthday or simply indulging in a delectable cut of beef, these standout spots across different neighborhoods showcase why steak house dining in Miami is anything but ordinary.

    Sunny’s Steakhouse

In Little River, Sunny’s Steakhouse reimagines the traditional steakhouse with an airy, indoor-outdoor setting anchored by a sprawling banyan tree. The courtyard dining room feels distinctly South Florida, blending neighborhood charm with refined technique.

Prime cuts headline the menu, complemented by raw bar delights, seasonal sides, creative pastas and a thoughtful cocktail program. It’s an inspired option for those who desire an uncompromising meal in a setting that feels both elevated and relaxed.

    Daniel’s Miami

One of Miami’s newer steakhouses, Daniel’s Miami offers a polished and traditional experience. Located in Coral Gables, this spot is overseen by chef Daniel Ganem and is home to a menu filled with expertly grilled prime cuts, classic accompaniments and a curated wine list that really rounds out the meal.

Start your journey with a light and fresh ceviche and the decadent caviar-topped onion dip before diving into the classics. Pair any of the steaks with a twice-baked potato and corn pudding. With white tablecloths and attentive servers, it’s one of the best steakhouses around.

T-bone steak and sides at El Toro Loco Steakhouse
El Toro Loco blends bold steakhouse classics with European flair.

    El Toro Loco Steakhouse

With high-energy dining rooms in Little Havana and Kendall (and a Doral location on the way), El Toro Loco Steakhouse brings a theatrical flair to the steakhouse scene. Known for its open-fire cooking and generous USDA Prime cuts, the restaurant delivers on bold flavors and lively atmosphere.

More than just a steakhouse, El Toro Loco's menu has a refined, Mediterranean-inspired twist. Highlights include beef carpaccio layered with shaved Parmesan and truffle oil and wood-fired tiger shrimp finished with chimichurri. A simply grilled branzino with lemon butter offers a lighter option alongside the restaurant’s signature steaks. This steak restaurant leans into fire and flavor, but with a few unexpected touches of European luxury.

    Fiorito

For a taste of Argentina in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood, Fiorito brings the spirit of a traditional parrilla to the destination. Family-owned and warm in atmosphere, it specializes in classic cuts like ribeye and churrasco, served with vibrant chimichurri and house-made salsas. Empanadas, crispy octopus and a thoughtful South American wine list round out the experience.

Plates are large and the vibes are on point. With a breezy patio and relaxed energy, it’s one of the best food spots in Miami for an unfussy but deeply satisfying steak dinner – especially if you have a larger group.

    Bourbon Steak Miami

At JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, Bourbon Steak Miami by chef Michael Mina has long set the standard for refined Miami steakhouses. Here, butter-poached steaks arrive impossibly tender, while duck fat fries, spicy lettuce cups and indulgent sides like black truffle mac and cheese elevate the experience beyond the expected.

From richly marbled A5 Japanese Wagyu to comforting luxuries like lobster pot pie, the menu balances technique and decadence. The sophisticated dining room – complete with plush banquettes and a glass-enclosed wine cellar – makes this a natural choice for special occasions that call for something memorable.

The Butchers Feast at COTE Miami

    COTE Miami

In the heart of the Miami Design District, COTE Miami fuses the ritual of Korean barbecue with the polish of a classic American steakhouse. As one of the destination's MICHELIN-starred restaurants, it’s a must-visit for serious steak lovers who appreciate precision and presentation. The signature Butcher’s Feast features a parade of house dry-aged USDA Prime and American Wagyu cuts, grilled tableside and paired with traditional banchan.

The dramatic black marble dining room, glowing gold accents and circular bar give the space a cinematic energy, making it one of the best dining experiences for a celebratory night out or a date night with someone you’re hoping to impress.

    Papi Steak

Few Miami Beach restaurants embrace spectacle quite like Papi Steak. Located in the South of Fifth neighborhood of South Beach, this glamorous steak spot channels Old World swagger with a distinctly modern edge.

Prime cuts are seared at 1,000 degrees for a caramelized crust and juicy interior, while signature presentations – including the iconic gold-leaf tomahawk that’s delivered in a briefcase with full bottle service vibes – turn dinner into a full production. If you’re searching for meat served in a club-like atmosphere and a crowd that sparkles as much as the chandeliers, Papi Steak is the move.

    Prime 112

"A defining fixture of Miami Beach dining, Prime 112 helped shape South of Fifth into one of the destination's most sought-after dining neighborhoods. For more than 2 decades, it has remained among the area's top picks for classic steakhouse indulgence and celebrity sightings.

Expect dry-aged prime beef cooked with precision, alongside decadent sides like truffle lobster mac and cheese and towering seafood platters. The white-tablecloth setting and buzzy room make it equally suited for business dinners, anniversaries and those quintessential see-and-be-seen evenings.

Smith & Wollensky's oceanfront dining area
Dine with a view on Smith & Wollensky's patio.

    Smith & Wollensky

Located at South Beach’s southernmost tip in South Pointe Park, Smith & Wollensky pairs classic steakhouse fare with one of the most iconic backdrops in the destination. With sweeping views of Government Cut, Fisher Island and PortMiami, it’s a standout for waterfront dining in Miami.

The expansive patio invites guests to linger over dry-aged steaks, chilled seafood towers, frosty martinis and bold red wines while cruise ships glide past. For those seeking beachfront dining with a side of salt air and sunset views, this is a quintessential choice.

    Dirty French Steakhouse

Making your way down the stairs into Dirty French Steakhouse in Brickell feels like stepping into a sultry, retro-glam fantasy. Mirrored walls, bold animal prints and an electric bar scene set the stage before the first bite of food even hits the table. You’re going to want to arrive early enough to grab a drink before dinner, just for the bar experience alone.

The steak selection leans toward the classics featuring filet mignon, porterhouse for two and Wagyu tomahawk, alongside creative dishes like mushroom millefeuille and classics like perfectly buttery mashed potatoes that add just the right amount of flair. It’s one of the most stylish steak houses in Miami – perfect for nights when dinner turns into an event.
