Chotto Matte serves Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors, with locally-produced, natural, non-GMO ingredients. Located off Lincoln Road, with its retractable roof, sliding door entrance, live DJ sets & purple light pouring over the bar area, the ambience is South Beach chic with a friendly vibe. Small plates are served in the center of the table, starting with cold and light dishes and then progressing to hotter and more flavorful dishes, before ending with sushi. The menu also includes a robata grill; a tasting menu, which includes a vegetarian option; a lunch menu, offering bento boxes and poke bowls; and a fixed-price pre-theater menu.
Make your reservation online or call (305)690-0743. Street parking, valet parking and parking garages are available. They are open for lunch daily from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner hours are 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily, but last order is taken at 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
